Yes, Smiley Squad Dental does offer bulk billing for patients who are eligible for subsidised dental treatment under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS). You can learn more about CDBS eligibility requirements here.

We aim to keep dental care simple and affordable for families. Here’s a breakdown of a standard appointment:

Yes. We accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for eligible children, which may cover the full cost of basic dental services.

Childcare & Schools

Yes. We partner with childcare providers and schools to deliver on-site dental health education and care, making it easier for children to access regular check-ups without disrupting their routine.

Parents do not need to be present at childcare or school visits. We obtain informed consent and medical history beforehand and keep parents updated on their child’s dental health.

We require a signed consent form from a parent or guardian before any treatment is provided. You’ll receive full details about the services offered so you can make an informed decision.

If additional or more complex treatment is needed, we will notify you and discuss the next steps, including referrals where appropriate.
X-rays & Tooth decay = On-going care with our Oral Health Therapist in a dental clinic / Paediatric specialist / Family dentist
Bite or growth concerns = Orthodontist
Tongue or lip ties = Oral Myologist
Concerns with breathing or airway = Ear Nose & Throat Specialist (ENT)
Safety & Hygiene

Yes. Mobile dental care is safe and follows strict Australian Dental Association (ADA) clinical standards, just like a traditional dental clinic.

We follow rigorous infection control protocols which is compliant with the ADA guidelines, including the use of sterilised instruments, disposable materials, and industry-approved cleaning procedures.

All treatments are provided by a fully qualified Oral Health Therapist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They also hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), current first aid certification, and full professional insurance - ensuring your child receives safe, high-quality care at every visit.
